Résumé
In this study, salinity and boron toxicity problems and nutritional status of vineyards in prevalent viticulture areas of Aegean region was investigated. This study was carried out in Manisa-Center, Saruhanlı, Salihli, Alaşehir and Denizli-Çal district. Soil and leaf samples were collected from 100 vineyards represent in the region. In the soil samples salinity related parameters, pH, EC, Na, Cl, B, and available nutrient elements (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu) were determined. In the plant samples N, P, K, Na, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu, B and Cl were determined.
According to analysis results, pH of soils were alkaline and have high amount of CaCO3. Additionaly, according to EC analysis results all soil samples were found nonsaline. However B toxicity problems in the vineyard areas were determined. Boron content of the soils was high in 28% and excess in 9% of the samples. Nitrogen (N), Zn and Mn concentrations were found insufficient in 21%, 49%, 43% of the soils sampled, respectively. While 43%, 46%, 86% and 87% of the soils sampled were found high in plant available P, K, Ca and Fe concentration, respectively.
According to leaf analysis results, 77% of the leaf samples showed excess concentration, and also Na concentration in 21% and Cl concentration in 10% of the samples were found critical.
