Résumé
In this study, temporal changes in salinity levels in irrigation area of Ankara-HaymanaTurkserefli Reservoir, planned to be constructed by State Hydraulic Works (DSI), were investigated. Required parameters were gathered from the soil and water samples of the years between 1998 and 2006 and they were compared for temporal assessments. It was found for the evaluated 8 years that 49 ha land area has transformed from the 1st class salinity limit ((EC:2-4 dS/m) into 2nd class (EC:4-8 dS/m) salinity limit, 77 ha from 1st class to 3rd class (EC:8-12 dS/m) ; with a significant increase 221 ha from 1st class to 5th class (EC:12 dS/m or higher) ; 137 ha from 3rd class to 5th class and 31 ha area remained in the 5th class even with decrease in salinity level. Alkalinity was also observed in some layers of 5th class land areas. Recommendations were proposed toward the solution of the observed problems.
