Objectif  : The objective of this cooperative research project is to develop technology and methodology for efficient use of water in agricultural systems suited to dry land climates by applying Irrigation Management Information System (IMIS) techniques.

Descriptif
Under this agreement, El-Hawakeer will provide expertise and the methodology in the use of the IMIS weather data to promote better crop irrigation and increase the irrigation efficiency in production agriculture. El-Hawakeer will collaborate with the Israeli Agricultural Research Organization, and other partners from Jordan and the Palestinian Authority area in the design, planning and implementation of the research programs to determine irrigation water requirements for high value crops in the region. Will work with the project partners in the region to improve the project human and infrastructure capacities. El-Hawakeer will work closely with the project partners in the region to organize and conduct joint training courses and workshops to introduce irrigation water saving technologies and methodologies to address challenges to food security and create economic opportunities for farmers in Israel and partner countries in the region
