Résumé
Water is the source of life for all creatures upon earth, and the axis of sustainable development and improvement. Freshwater represents only 3% of world water. Egypt is one of the semi-arid countries due to the lack of rain. The country depends on a major source of water, which is the River Nile ; at a constant quota of (55.5 billion m3/year), to irrigate (8.5 million feddan). This thesis aims at testing the feasibility of applying the proposed model of field agricultural drainage water reuse for irrigation purposes, as one of the non-conventional sources of water, and the proposed alternatives to avoid pollution problems of open drains caused by wrong practices of disposing liquid waste of sewage and industrial effluent into these drains without treatment. Amongst such indicators are the suitability of salinity of irrigation and drainage water and the soil for application of the proposed model through using leaching requirements twice a year (with mixing of drainage collector water with the fresh water of meska at ratio of 1:3), Minia ,Beni suef, Fayoum and Giza governorates face the problem of the shortage of irrigation water coming from Bahr yussef . this may be due to the relative decrease of the real capacity of the water sector. The mathematical model for bahr yusef was designed for the reach located from down stream the barrage (dayrout barrage ) to the sakula regulator with a length of (180 km) using a uni – dimension arithmetic model ’’ SOBEK’’ which was developed in ’’ Delfet hydraulics institute in Holland. The whole length of the reach was represented (180 km ). It was produced excellent equation for calculating the discharges down stream intake. The Quata of Minia governorate of Bahr yusef extension horizontal area equal115550feddan
