Résumé
We analyzed the Traditional Environmental Knowledge of the community of Casas Viejas. The objectives were : to characterize the territorial identity, the socioeconomic context of the community, and determine the environmental traditional knowledge of the flora that this one possesses. The results were that Casas Viejas corresponds to a community of medium-low social stratum to low, whose links with the territory are principally affectives, economic and landscaped. 50 plant species were collected, of which the Elders of the community identified 94 %, the Adults 66 %, and the Adolescents 44 %. 7 types of use were determined for 26 species. The most common uses correspond to ornamental and medicinal. We concluded that : the Elders of the community possess greater knowledge of the flora of his territory, and the most valued species are those that have uses, and that are in the places that the community visits frequently.
