Résumé
Brazil has a variety of climatic zones, since the humid tropics untill the semi-arid temperate zones. Representing today about 20% of the world’s flora. The potential exploiting of native fruit depends of a better knowledge about the species. The cambuci fruit tree (Campomanesia phaea Berg. Landr.) is a native plant from the Mata Atlântica, occurring in the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, and presents a small range of commercial exploitation in these regions. There are not enough information about propagation methods and seeds germination of this plant, which difficulties the propagation of seedlings aiming the development of commercial orchards of this fruit tree. The description of cambuci fruit characterization is important to support new plant breeding researches and your trades exploitation, especially regarding the fruit processing. Thus, this research aimed to verify the increase of seeds germination potential e realize the characterization physical and chemical of different cambuci fruit acessions.
