Présentation
Objectifs : To contribute to the food security and income generation of small-scale farmers by implementing local food purchase initiatives for school feeding that complement the work already being done by the World Food Programme (WFP) through the Purchase for Progress Programme (P4P)._ Activités : Procured haricot red beans, legumes, maize, millet and rice from local smallholder farmers in Ethiopia, Malawi, Mozambique, the Niger and Senegal to be used in school meals. •Built the capacities of stakeholders involved in procurement and school feeding operations. •Supported the capacity-building of storing, handling and serving of locally sourced food at the school level.
