Informations sur le journal

African Journal of Water Conservation and Sustainability ISSN 2375-0936 is a peer-reviewed open access forum for the publication of refereed scientific work, of an interdisciplinary nature, at the interface of science, technology, policy and society. A particular emphasis is placed on the value and importance of stakeholder partnerships for effective communication on issues of water conservation and sustainability.

AJWCS explores and promotes science-based knowledge about management practices that protect land and river ecologies and make them productive and more resilient. The journal will offer unique opportunities to showcase conservation efforts in both the uplands and bottomlands of great rivers and their tributaries, including nutrient management, erosion and sediment control, nonpoint source pollution and watershed policy, flood and drought management, and other issues influencing the health and functionality of our soil and water.

There is great need for continued strong partnerships among innovative scientists that propose and evaluate best practices, practitioners that adapt and monitor those practices to suit their own unique locales, and public and private organizations that invest in and advocate for the preservation of river ecology while using the water and soil resources to society’s benefit.

AJWCS will not only be a platform to reflect on decades of achievements and advancement efforts, but an opportunity to explore the work not yet completed and search for solutions to current and emerging challenges. The aim of the journal is to provide up-to-date information on new developments and trends, and to enable networking and information exchange on a global basis.

International Scholars Journals publishes all its articles in an Open Access format, meaning everyone will have unlimited and immediate access to all its content and will be able to view, download, print, and redistribute any article without subscription, enabling far greater distribution of an author’s work than the traditional subscription-based publishing model. While making this possible, ISJ will not receive any income from selling subscriptions to print or view online versions of its journals or from charging "pay-per-view" fees. For this reason, ISJ is compelled to defray its editorial and production costs by collecting article processing charges (APCs) from authors
