International Journal of Irrigation and Water Management ISSN 5423-5294 publishes papers on all aspects of irrigation management, environmental impact of irrigation, water treatment, water supply, river, wetland and catchment management, inland waterways, urban regeneration, including all the activities involve in planning, developing, distributing and optimum use of water resources under defined water polices and regulations such as industrial water, sewage or wastewater, management of water resources, management of flood protection and management of the water table.

In particular, the journal publishes contributions on water resources assessment, development, conservation and control, emphasizing policies and strategies, planning and design of water resource systems, and operation, maintenance and administration of water resource systems, water demand and consumption ; applied surface and groundwater hydrology ; water management techniques ; simulation and modelling of water resource systems ; forecasting and control of quantity and quality of water ; economic and social aspects of water use ; legislation and water resources protection, applied fluid dynamics and water (including supply, treatment and sewerage) and river engineering ; together with the increasingly important fields of wetland and catchment management, groundwater and contaminated land, waterfront development and urban regeneration.

The scope also covers hydroinformatics tools, risk and uncertainty methods, as well as environmental, social and economic issues relating to sustainable development.

IJIWM is an international, multidisciplinary forum for the publication of original contributions and the exchange of knowledge and experience on the management of water resources.

Article Processing Charges

International Scholars Journals publishes all its articles in an Open Access format, meaning everyone will have unlimited and immediate access to all its content and will be able to view, download, print, and redistribute any article without subscription, enabling far greater distribution of an author’s work than the traditional subscription-based publishing model. While making this possible, ISJ will not receive any income from selling subscriptions to print or view online versions of its journals or from charging "pay-per-view" fees. For this reason, ISJ is compelled to defray its editorial and production costs by collecting article processing charges (APCs) from authors
