Résumé
This research led to the ethnobotany of the tree and shrub species in the municipalities of Linares and Hualahuises, Nuevo León, resulting in 77 species distributed in 63 genera and 38 families, which stand out for their importance 6 species of the genus Acacia and 5 to genus Quercus. In addition families with the greatest number of species are Mimosaceae (11), Rutaceae (6), Fagaceae (5), Caesalpiniaceae and Rutaceae with 4. Also the analysis of biological form generated a total of 52 tree species and 25 shrubs. On the other hand identified 9 categories of use where they were located on all the species of interest to the study area where you have the categories with the largest number of medicinal species are categories with 49, followed by forage 32 the timber with 31, the ornamental with 29 and edible with 21. Similarly, to determine the quantitative importance of species per use category that is derived from Acacia berlandieri has the highest rate of use-value of 80% in the category feed, followed by Prosopis laevigata with 67% in the fuel category and Capsicum annum with 65% in the edible category. Moreover identified 4 types of vegetation and a list of species of interest for each of them, where you have the Tamaulipas thornscrub has a greater number of species with 43, followed with 28 submontane scrub, mixed forests with 15 and the only gallery vegetation only with 7. Finally, was described the morphological characteristics of the 38 families and 77 species of interest, this being very important to increase the botanical knowledge. In conclusion we can determine that according to our results there is a diversity of useful species.
