Résumé
In this research carried out in the research area of Field Crops Department, Tekirdag Agricultural Faculty in Thrace University in 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 growing period, it was aimed to determine the drought resistance of fifteen wheat cultivars under vitro and in vivo conditions. This research, based on the random blocks of experimental design with three replications for field experiment and factorial random plot of experimental design in vivo and in vitro conditions with six replications. Pehlivan, Flamura 85, Saraybosna, Milena, Prostor, Dariel, Kıraç 66, Altay 2000, Sagittario, Gediz 75, Golia, Sadova, Bezostoja 1, Todora and Suzen wheat cultivars were used. Grain yield per main spike, grain yield per decare, number of heading days, plant height, spike length, number of grain per main spike, weight of grain per main spike, lag leaf area per plant, number of stomata, test weight, thousand kernel weight, shout and root weight, shout and root length, dry matter weight of shout and root per plant, leaf retention ability in different conditions were examined Most of the plants characters decreased significantly under different drought conditions both in vitro and pots important level when compared to the control groups. Response of bread wheat genotypes under different drought conditions changed with genotypes. Grain yields of the cultivars ranged from 301.00 -552.00 kg/da in 2003-2004 and 282.92 to 623.33 kg/da in 2004-2005 growing period. The highest leaf retention ability was obtained genotypes Golia and Prostor with 159 g while the lowest values were determined in genotypes Flamura 85 and Kıraç 66 with 62.67 and 63.67 g, respectively.
