Présentation
The project is a continuation of the SGP supported project. In the first phase, the ancient wheat seeds were cultivated and the project achieved a huge success in spreading the production to the surrounding villages. Both the wheat and its products can be now found in the Kars vicinity. In the second phase of the project, the aim is to spread the reach of the ancient seed to a bigger locality, therefore creating a market and suitable products through the project. The NGO will be working towards purifying the product (the seeds usually have other plants in the batch, not very much appreciated by today’s consumer) and to establish a proper packing, branding and marketting chain for the Kavilca.
