The project is complementing the SGPsupported TUR/OP3/2/06/03 project successfully completed by the grantee. This project aims to improve the solar drying unit prototype that was produced in the former project to perfection and to replicate it in the village to improve the quality of dried fruits and vegetables, provide an improved and more steady income to the villagers and to demonstrate the solar ovens in an area that has tremendous replication potential. Kirazli Village now became a known trademark in terms of the local seeds that they are conserving and their products, the solar dryers will allow them to store the products for longer duration, allowing them to be able to be sold the year round and also increase the level of income generated from them even on a unit basis.
