Descriptif
The purpose of the project is an institutional strengthening of the Ethiopian animal disease control and veterinary services through : Support in the development of surveillance programs of the Ministry of Agriculture : understanding of risk assessment, epidemiology and vaccination programs including regulations and responsibilities of the different stakeholders. Improvement of the laboratory diagnostic capacity of NAHDIC. Support of the disease monitoring and prevention in the field ; disease diagnosis, disease prevention (via knowledge transfer of vaccination programs, hygiene and other management factors) and sampling by the regional laboratories and practitioners.

Mise en œuvre : Central Veterinary Institute (CVI) of Wageningen University and Research Centre.
