Contexte
The proposed project is targeting to cover nutrition needs of affected population in Bulu Burte and Hodan IDPs in South and Central Somalia.the humanitarian situation is currently being classified critical.According to FSNAU (post Gu 14 analysis ),the food security deteriorated in the last year 2014.the major factors contributing to the deterioration of the food security include late Dayr rains ,rising food prices and road blocks has negatively impacted house hold food security and increased vulnerability to malnutrition among vulnerable children and pregnant women.seasonal disease outbreaks including AWD outbreak also reported in the target location. measles outbreak is also among key factors aggravate malnutrition. according to WARDI nutrition sites reports in the first 10 moths 2014,(9500 children under five were screened of whom 6105 were MAM cases,2890 were SAM treated in OTP and 505 were SAM cases with medical complication). prevalence of malnutrition among children is high than for previous years. for example one in 7 children are malnourished.according to FSNAU Post Gu 2014 nutrition analysis,an estimated 218,000 children under five who are acutely malnourished, the number of malnourished children has increased in 2014 compare to last year 2013.Therefore, comprehensive strategy to prevent further deterioration of nutrition at list in the coming six months in 2015 is required.

Présentation
WARDI is currently running OTP/SC in Beletweyne referral Hospital. the organization is als supporting two fixed OTP/TSFP sites in (Wanla Weyn town and Leego village) and three mobile sites in Garfale,Hakow and fullay. WARDI with funding from IOM is implementing Emergency WASH project in Bulaburte.At Hodan IDPs of Mogadishu, WARDI runs an MCH that provides PHC services to the target IDPs and the host community ; WARDI is implementing JNHP in Darkeynley and Kaxda Districts of Banadir region.In nutrition sector,WARDI is currently running TSFP to treat moderately malnourished children at Hamar Jajab Health Center in Mogadishu.The project is also integrating to WASH project funded by CHF.
