Résumé
This dissertation investigates the reduction of photovoltaic external and internal parameters due to dirt deposition on the surface of modules and the relationship between them. The research was completed in Port Sudan city. The study results found that due to dirt accumulation, there exists decreasing of 15.96% in power monthly,64.44% each five months and 77.79 % after nine months from the beginning of dirty. Characteristics of solar modules show that the voltage affected by temperature more than dirt accumulation in a period of month while the current was affected by dirt. The best production of solar panel occurs in August. The research proposed to increase performance, modules may installed on relatively low places so it can be cleaned with taking a right tilt angle in account, using sun tracker and provide modules with soft mechanical hand for daily cleaning but not making scratch on the surface of the solar module.
