Résumé
Agriculture plays a very important role in the national economy of Xinjiang. But the growth and development of agriculture relies on the technical progress and the enhancement of technological efficiency in a great degree. The paper tries to embark the key factors which bring the growth of Xinjiang agriculture from the aspect of investment quality.The paper consists of six chapters : Chapter One introduces the overall situation regarding this research ; Chapter Two describes the related theory and the research which this paper relies on ; And the Third is the simple description of Xinjiang’s agricultural development ; Chapter Four&Five are the positive analysis on the technical progress and the technological efficiency in the agricultural growth of Xinjiang, which are the key parts of the paper ; The last chapter gives some advice for the promotion of Xinjiang’s agriculture from the angel of the generalized technical progress on the basis of the above analysis and conclusions.In the fourth chapter we choose the samples on input and output from 1998 to 2005, and then utilize the Solow’s method based on C-D production function to deal with the time series data for the 28 years. And ultimately measure the technical progress factor to the growth of Xinjiang’s agricultural economy. The result shows that, the average technical progress in this period is approximately 41.896%. The contribution of technical progress to Xinjiang’s agricultural growth is only a little inferior to that of the material expenses.The empirical analysis of Chapter Five uses the panel data of input and output from 2002 to 2005 in Xinjiang’s 86counties or cities and puts it into the stochastic frontier production function in the form of TRANSLOG production function to measure the level of technological efficiency in various counties of Xinjiang. Through some statistical and econometrics analysis, the result demonstrates that in the observed time period the average technological efficiency within the boundaries of Xinjiang is 0.574284. That is to say, the level of technological efficiency in Xinjiang’s agricultural production is overall low at present. At the same time, the difference of technological efficiency among various countries or cities of Xinjiang’s agricultural production is extremely obvious. The paper also discusses some factors which may influence the change of the technological efficiency in the certain degree, and puts forward the corresponding policy proposals
