Résumé
Phragmites communis Trin.(common reed) is a recognized model plant for studying its adaptation to contrasting and harsh environments. And the two ecotype reeds deriving from long-term stable natural variation in this study are very ideal material for studying resisitance and adaptation mechanism to natural abiotic stress. To understand the possible molecular cause in enormous changing hydrophobicity of protein for the remarkable resistance to combined stresses,we performed a comprehensive soluble and insoluble proteomic analysis of the leaf proteins from two ecotypes,i.e.swamp and desert dune, naturally growing in the desert region of northwestern China.Based on the results of soluble and insoluble proteome analysis, rubisco of swamp and dune reed was cloned respectively and their sequences were aligned, which had the biggest change in the hydrophobicity. The sequence alignment results showed that rbcL and rbcS are identical between swamp reed and dune reed. And it was concluded that the change in hydrophilic/ hydrophobic property of protein from swamp reed to dune reed is not the result of gene mutation and may be the result of mRNA edit in chloroplast or post-translation.
