Présentation
The primary objective of the project is to develop rural infrastructure such as establishment of basic infrastructure especially processing units necessary for value addition which will help small-scale farmers of their agro-based products there by increasing their bargaining power and ensure better returns. The project involves reduction of drudgery for women by reducing or eliminating long hours spent on manually pounding millets used for consumption. The project also aims at imparting value addition skills for SHG women groups engaged in hillbroom manufacturing for improved production and benefit from better market prices.
