Résumé
Building on the results of the first and second phase (January 2013 until June 2014), the support by Acacia Water and Practica in the third phase (October 2014) focus on advice on the rehabilitation of two micro dams in Koulikoro region and Sikasso region and a 3R refresher training for implementing partners based on acquired knowledge during former trainings.

Contexte
WASH interventions still overlook the potential of RWH as well as the opportunities and challenges the intervention area (or catchment) has to offer in relation to drinking water provision, climate change resilience and food security. Through its involvement in the 3R consortium, RAIN opened up its technical portfolio and program planning towards a holistic approach. From 2013 – 2015, RAIN seeks to expand RWH/WASH programs in Mali to 3R programs. RAIN and its partners in Mali hold a key position in up scaling 3R at an implementation and local policy level, but are in need of expertise and knowledge on how to do so. The objective of this project is to create sustainable water supply for the population in the two regions of Sikasso and Koulikoro.
