Objectifs
To evaluate the utility of models and innovative, distributed, low impact development (LID) infrastructure with best management practices (BMPs) for wet weather capture and drinking water aquifer recharge in the arid and semi-arid southwestern USA.

Approche
1) Conduct a site visit to Ft. Irwin to tour the base and consult with Fort staff ; 2) Acquire most current watershed characterization data ; 3) Use AGWA to construct a KINEROS2 watershed model representation of the area draining into the Four Plex recreation area ; 4) Conduct simulations using idealized precipitation inputs (uniform in time and space) of sufficient duration to drive the modeled runoff to equilibrium ; 5) Develop an internal EPA-ARS technical report describing data sources, model construction, and initial model testing.
