Résumé
Isoprenoid emissions from trees play an important role in atmospheric chemistry and are strongly affected by drought events. This thesis focuses on the development and application of a gas exchange measurement system (Tree DEMON) to assess the isoprenoid emissions of Pinus sylvestris L. provenances and Castanea sativa Mill. at varying water regimes. Both species revealed multiple chemo species and an emission decrease during drought. P. sylvestris L. provenances showed different plasticity of emissions and a strong decrease of de novo and pool emissions during drought.
