With the rapid development of China’s economy and the country’s strong investment in the railway industry,railway construction in the Northwest has been rapidly developed in recent years.However,with the continuous expansion of the transportation network,the construction of the Northwest Railway has brought convenience,as well as the consumption of a large amount of water resources,the release of a large number of pollutants,and adversely affecting the ecological environment of the region.The concept of water saving in construction was put forward in this context.As the construction phase is the phase that consumes the most water resources and causes the most serious water pollution,the soil in the northwestern arid area is in poor soil and water and soil loss is serious,and the fragile ecological environment is in urgent need of implementing railway construction to save water.At present,the railway construction project has not yet promulgated evaluation standards for green construction water saving.In order to encourage railway construction enterprises to effectively implement green construction and water conservation,it is necessary to establish an evaluation system to standardize it.On the basis of reference to the research status at home and abroad,this paper takes the water saving and water use of the railway construction stage in the northwestern arid region as the research object,and applies the grey clustering assessment method to construct the green construction water saving and water resources utilization in the arid regions of Northwest China.Comprehensive evaluation model,in-depth study of key issues in the construction of green water-saving evaluation index system for railway construction in the arid regions of Northwest China,quantification of evaluation indicators,and grading standards for evaluation indicators,and apply the model to actual railway construction projects.First of all,this article through the research and analysis of the concepts and related theories of railway green construction water saving and water resources utilization,defines the scope and principles of research on water saving and water resources utilization of railway green construction in arid regions of Northwest China,and proposes the railway construction festival in Northwest China.The necessity of water.Through the comparative analysis of commonly used weight determination methods and evaluation methods,the comprehensive evaluation method of this paper is determined.On this basis,combining the natural conditions,water resources distribution and climatic conditions in the northwest region,the main measures for implementing water conservation and water resource utilization in the green construction phase of railways in the northwestern arid region were proposed.Secondly,according to China’s current railway green evaluation standards and technical specifications,combined with sustainable development theory,circular economy theory,and environmental carrying capacity theory and other relevant theories,the use of non-traditional water sources,the use of non-municipal water sources,and temporary water conservation were constructed.The five-level evaluation index including facility allocation,water use efficiency improvement,and water saving management has been applied to the comprehensive evaluation indicator system for water saving and water resources utilization in the green construction of railways in the arid regions of Northwest China.Based on the metrics and quantitative calculation formulas of qualitative and quantitative indicators in the arid regions of northwest China,
