Présentation
The project aims to sustainably manage, conserve and sustainably harvest Algeria’s globally significant cork oak forest ecosystems by developing and implementing a sustainable forest management system/plan in a participatory manner, that responds to local needs and conserves the ecosystems. The project also seeks to develop financial and economic incentives for sustainable forest management of the Cork Oak forests, which produces many valuable products, goods and services that are currently not monetized or optimized.
