Durée : Oct 2013 - Sep 2014

Présentation
Strengthen the capacities of four local organizations in the Chyulu Hills landscape in developing, securing finances for, and implementing REDD+ projects and/or improving water management in the areas around the Chyulu Hills National Park catchment in Kenya. The project will start with a capacity assessment, followed by targeted training and/or workshops focusing on key skills within project cycle management, such as fundraising, proposal writing, grant management, project management, and technical and financial report writing. After the training, skills will be further nurtured and enhanced through on-the-job support and a mentoring scheme through collaboration with Africa Wildlife Foundation (AWF). At the end of the project, all four local partners will have increased capacity to independently and successfully seek financial support for and manage projects on their own, and six high-quality proposals will have been submitted to donors by the beneficiary organizations
