Présentation
The project aims at promoting the economic development of the targeted communities in an integrated and global approach, by increasing their income and also maintaining and guaranteeing their food security thereby reducing the level of poverty in the region. Particularly the project includes to (i) contribute to the training of the producers as well as professionals involved in the development of livestock (ii) provide infrastructures for animal health (iii) provide efficient management of pastoral installations and resources (iv) contribute to the dis_enclavement of the region by providing road infrastructures, and (v) improve nutrition and incomes by adding value to products through efficient processing and marketing through construction of infrastructures like veterinary posts, veterinary laboratories, vaccination parks, cattle markets and abattoirs,
pastoral water wells and boreholes, grazing land development, training, artisanal milk processing, feeder roads, small equipment for animal health, office equipment, animal feeds and small implements, small revolving credit, support to the Executing Agencies including regional project supervision, Consultancy services and Audit.
