The Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN) is a multilateral public private partnership initiated by the Climate Technology Initiative and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). It identifies and nurtures promising, innovative clean and renewable energy projects by bridging the gap between investors, clean energy entrepreneurs and project developers.

This project will develop, construct and operate a grid-connected wind farm with a generation capacity of 25 MW in Northern Senegal. In a second phase, a further 25 MW of capacity will be added. The project will also construct a renewable energy training centre for the development of local capacity. A feasibility study has been completed, and an IPP Agreement with the Ministry of Oil and Energy Sources is in place.
