Résumé
The objective of the present study is to revise critically the taxonomic relationships between the species and varieties of the available members of the related genera (Anthyllis, Tripodion, Hymenocarpos, Securigera, Hippocrepis, Lotus, Tetragonolobus and Scorpiurus) of tribe Loteae, family Fabaceae. It was found that there was no previous complete work on morphological, anatomical and seed morphology studies of these taxa. Systematic revision carried out on specimens collected from their natural habitats in addition to herbarium specimens deposited in Menoufia University Herbarium (acronym MNF). Seeds of some studied species are obtained from the Desert Legume Program – The University of Arizona in US, Western Regional Plant Introduction Station – Washington State University in US and Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Research (IPK) in Germany. The seed were cultivated in plastic house, till fruiting stage. With aim of carrying out systematic revision, to bring out morphological, anatomical characters and seeds characters using light and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The study aim to construct key of diagnostic systematic characters and arranged it in tables, plates and microscopic photographics pictures. The morphological, anatomical and seed morphology results of the studied taxa are used to evaluate the systematic relationship between the taxa
