The study examines the concept of geographic information systems, the possibilities available in geographic information systems, the previous experiences of using geographic information systems in the development of renewable energy, the proposed model of GIS for the planning and development of renewable energy projects in Egypt, In order to achieve sustainable development, the Research will create a model through the use of modern techniques and methods such as geographic information systems to reach the best places of energy and economic cost And thus propose stable to operate these energies to achieve the highest national return
