Résumé
As a result of the lack in the quality of life level in the Egyptian community, also, the world movement that considers heritage sites as a support for the quality of life level became the importance of this study that aims to develop a quality of urban life (QOUL) indicators model for heritage sites. This Research supposes that the level of QOUL is affected by factors related to the built environment & socio-cultural life. This model has been applied on the heritage center of Heliopolis (Baghdad st., EL-Ahram st., and Botros Ghaly st.) using data collecting tools (user’s questionnaire & observation checklist). Results showed conflicts between the real and perceived QOL, also, some specific factors seem to be more affecting the level of QOL, visual character, parking areas, signs & information. Specific recommendations are recommended for further related Researche
