Résumé
Rainwater harvesting is considered the best alternative for current rising water shortage problems in Ibb city, Yemen. It can cover up to 49% of the population demand and can be enough for total needs of water in the case of rationalizing water consumption. Besides, the results shown that rainwater has better quality when compared with main water source. The rainwater reveals excellent economic feasibility. The cost of 1m3 is 1.70 USD where the same quantity costs about (3.14) USD for main water source.
