Résumé
Optimization of the designed system on HOMER through applying of demand side management technic shows significant results regarding reducing the rated capacity of PV array and increasing the lifetime of battery bank. Investigation of the energy management of the design system was performed on MATLAB. These results lead in reducing the net percent cost of the systems and levelized cost of energy, as well. Modification of the optimized system through replacing of load improved the performance of the system and reduced the total cost significantly
