Résumé
The drainage lakes became inefficient to accept the water lost from the wells. It is found that only 50% of the flow rate is used in agriculture and life activities and the rest is diverted directly to drainage lakes. Geographic Information System. (G.I.S.) is used in preparing basic and interpretation maps. Numerical groundwater flow model (Modflow) is also applied. The calibrated model is used for predicting of the aquifer system behavior for 1- Keeping the present extraction. 400,000 m3/day from the carbonate aquifer and Nubian aquifer for the next 80 years 2-Considering the Nubian sandstone aquifer is response due to future development in the east with present extraction of shallow wells in the west
