Résumé
Climate change is regarded as one of the most complex challenges facing humanity in the 21st century. The nature and diversity of related threat requires an urgent and demanding agenda to societies, especially in the field of Agency. The construction and conduct of combat strategies, as part of this agenda, may be conditioned by the perceptions and human practices in inter-influence with the present socio-cultural, environmental, and climate systems. The phenomenon of climate change, ongoing, on the one hand, with a deep technological/scientific revolution, on the other, with social and economic changes based on a process of globalization at multiple levels, runs on the macro scenario of individual people empowerment, where the educational processes assume increased relevance. Contemporary generations are subject to processes of acquisition and exposure to new knowledge, lay and scientific, which make them distinct from its predecessors. Characterized as the most educated until today, they are also those that confront the challenges and dangers announced. Our exploratory nature study uses quantitative methodology based on a survey. It was conducted among a group of national young age (cohorts of 18 and 19 years) people, belonging to generation Z, with the goal of produce some knowledge on the subject of their perceptions and practices about the climate change. It aims, extensively ; contribute to deepening the reflection on the reconstruction and reconfiguration of lay rationalities, which guide the action and interaction in daily life, producing holistic directions address to the responses to climate change.
