Résumé
The main objective of this study is atmospheric hazard zoning in northwest part of Iran. For this purpose, the data are collected from Meteorological Organization in daily and monthly scale about thirteen synoptic stations in three provinces of East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan and Ardebil for 26 years (1990-2015). In this study, the number of 10 important atmospheric hazards examine northwest zone and prepare a lot of maps for every hazard separately by means of Geographic Information System (GIS).Then, it prepares spatial zoning maps for every cluster. Finally, by means of combining of results provided by all hazard, general atmospheric hazard map of northwest zone¬ is prepared. The results show that northwest zone including its east, southwest, centre and west in terms frequency of occurance are the most hazard parts. At the same time, northwest zone is the least hazard part. It also indicates that storms and dust storms are the most important hazard in northwest zone.
