Présentation  : Karachi Metropolitan Corporation dumps 25% of the city’s waste in Goth Noor Muhammad a settlement 25 kilometers from Karachi, which lacked basic facilities such as running water, sanitation, schools and health care.

The residents of Goth Noor Mohammad earned primarily through selling scrap collected from the garbage dump, however, after the project took place, a lot of development took place within the area.

Résultats
* 133 housing and 34 sanitation units created. A common kitchen, toilet and water storage tank for a cluster of 2-3 units established. * A fully equipped primary school with furniture, books, and other learning tools serving more than 150 boys and girls. * Sustainable livelihoods for more than 90 individuals through asset transfer. * More than 350 residents trained for livelihood skills along with training in masonry and livestock farming. * Solar lighting system established for continuous supply of electricity. * A reverse osmosis plant set up for supply of clean drinking water.
