Présentation
The capacity building programme focused on introducing the most ideal practices of the Agriculture Value Chain of 300 farmers from the Bahawalpur district in union councils Khuda Bukhsh Mehr and Mad Pir Wah of Tehsil Ahmad Pur East.

The company supports the largest farmer advisory programme in Pakistan, which has reached out to over 1.8 million local farmers since 1982, providing free micro-nutrition, water and soil tests along with advisory and capacity building services.

The microfinance loans, in collaboration with PPAF and NRSP Bank empowered cotton farmers to acquire the best quality of seeds, farming techniques and fertilizer for the ongoing season. Provision of timely and productive loans to small farmers complemented by services from the FFC Agri Extension Services Department, were the key components of this project. It was implemented through NRSP Bank and other project activities included : - soil testing - laser land leveling - on-spot training - micro-loans - agriculture financial facilities helped farmers in bearing input costs - SMS alerts - helped farmers grow their market links and networks - Crop insurance policy
