Présentation
The biggest challenge for agriculture in the present and future is to meet the food demand of the ever increasing world population. Increasing the production of cereals is, therefore, of paramount importance. Pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum [L.] R. Br.) formerly known as (P. americanum [L] Leeke) is a variety of the millet family also known as pearl, bulrush, spiked or cat-tail millet.
