Description
In the Timbuktu region of Mali most young people are unemployed. They cannot pursue their careers and they have no resources to invest in companies. This project supports about 850 young people financially and through knowledge transfer (on issues like management, production and storage). It provides start-up assistance for new micro-enterprises, mostly based on farming, and supports existing ones to make them profitable by the end of the project. There is also training on social rights and responsibilities, so that young people are better able to help shape their own future.
